An active unit of NSS is functioning in Loyola College and this is the first NSS unit under the University of Kerala. The college has got around 120 students for post graduation and all the students are members of the NSS unit.
Women empowerment denotes the women’s ability in taking decisions related to their life, education and work and giving equal rights to them in all spheres like: personal, social, economic, political, legal and so on. Injustice, gender bias and inequalities cannot be removed without women empowerment.
A permanent feature of Loyola College is its initiative and participation in maintaining the eco-friendly nature of the campus.
